The 25mm product is produced in 75,100,110,125 and 150mm widths. We target a moisture content of 12-14% that is achieved by steam conditioning before, during and after the drying process. This is gives us a very stable product allowing us to meet our customer’s requirements. The general use of this product is seen in Japanese Prefab Housing components, furniture, as lamina, interior/exterior furnishings, or as high-grade boards and paneling.


EG, or Edge Glue, is our first grade. It allows a limited amount of wane and smaller knots making it suitable for laminating purpose and in products where appearance is of utmost importance.

 

Our Jasper grade is one that allows slightly more of the natural characteristics than does our first grade but is nonetheless a quality product well suited for the furniture market.


Foothills, our third grade, are traditionally produced for use as #2 and #3 boards. Other possible uses may be as cut stock for special programs.

Taruki
The 63mm product is produced in 125 and 150mm widths. We target a moisture content of 17% that is achieved by steam conditioning before, during and after the drying process. This is gives us a very stable product allowing us to meet our customer’s requirements. The general use of this product is seen as furniture cut stock or high-grade 5/4" decking.


Taruki is our first grade. It allows a limited amount of wane and smaller knots making it suitable for laminating purpose and in products where appearance is of utmost importance.

 

Edson & Better is our second grade for this size. It allows for more natural characteristics than does the Taruki, but nevertheless makes beautiful 5/4” decking.
